ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Our hearts go out to the victims of natural disasters of 2005. Hurricane Katrina dampened our original plans but not our spirit for fun, adventure and education.

Because of Hurricane Katrina our Annual reception and dinner in New Orleans was cancelled. Thankfully to Dr. Dhiren Buch, Dr. Jaimini Dave and our President Dr. Narendra Shah who worked together assiduously to arrange our Annual reception and Dinner at Haveli Restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia in very short time. We greatly appreciate the help and support of the Board of Directors and management of Haveli Restaurant.

We started with meeting of the Board of Directors, which approved several changes in the Board for the coming years.

Despite the short notice, our members' spirit and support were overwhelming. Approximately one hundred people attended the reception.

The cocktail hour was very enjoyable for the members and guests as they mingled and networked over delicious appetizers.

Before the Dinner Dr. Narendra Shah appraised the members about the activities of ASIA and asked members to visit our website often and send us any news fit to be online. He also announced website was about to have a facelift by Mr. Satya Shaw and promised it be more interactive. Dr.Durgesh Mankikar introduced the New Board. He also announced the date for NYSSA meeting in New York and that a plan was afoot to hold lunch or dinner meeting on December 10th, 2005.
Mr. Darryl Goldstein and Mr. Caro of Gilford Securities educated the members about Hedge Fund. Mr. Shaw presented new Investment strategy and Mr. Harish Patel talked about medical management and billing.
The dinner with delicious Indian delicacies followed.
